Questions, answered
The questions advertisers and creators ask most, answered in plain terms.
For advertisers
Booking, creative, proof, and the calendar.
How do I know my ad actually posted?
Every run carries a posted confirmation. When your ad goes up, the creator confirms it from their own dashboard, normally with the screenshot attached, so the run shows as posted on your calendar and whatever they sent sits on the order itself. A status disappears after 24 hours, so that capture is usually the only record it ever ran. You never have to chase anyone for it.
Who does the posting?
The person who owns the audience. A status runs from the creator's own account, and a group post comes from the admin, inside a conversation members already read. Your ad arrives under a name the reader trusts, which is a large part of why it works.
What does a verified audience count actually mean?
That the number came off the creator's own account and JMG checked it with them on the date printed beside it. A status owner opens their account and shows us the count, we record it, and we publish it with that date so you can see how fresh it is. Only the creator can see their own contact list, so JMG does not claim these are independently audited figures, and we will not pretend otherwise. What we do stand behind is that every number on the board is one we asked for and dated, and that we go back and re-check them instead of letting a count sit for a year. A listing whose count we have not confirmed yet says so rather than guessing.
What creative do I send?
An image, a short video, or a PDF, plus the caption you want to run with it. Full specs by format are in the media kit, which you can read or download. If something about your file will not sit well in a status frame, we flag it before it runs, not after.
Can I run every week without rebooking?
Yes. When you book, check Repeat this campaign and it holds the same outlet and the same slot week after week, for as many weeks as you choose. Steady presence is how names get built on WhatsApp, and the platform makes it the easy path.
How is the price set?
Per listing. Every outlet has one price for each thing it sells, worked out from its verified audience count, its format and how long the post holds, and every publication has its own rate card by size. All of it is published on the pricing page. The figure there is the figure you book at, and the same number sits on every listing inside the platform.
How do I pay?
JMG invoices you for the whole campaign and you pay the invoice directly, by PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App. Credit cards are welcome too, and they are arranged rather than typed in. To set one up, get in touch first through the contact page, or write to hello@jewishmarketinggroup.com, and we take it from there. No card details are ever entered or stored on this site.
Can I target one community?
Not the way a Facebook ad targets. A status or a group post goes out to everybody on that outlet's list, wherever they happen to live, so there is no geographic filter to set and we will not sell you one. What you choose is the outlet. Each one was built by a person with their own following, and they do not all reach the same people. Tell us who you are trying to reach and we will tell you which outlets fit and which ones would be wasted on you.
What about Shabbos and Yom Tov?
The calendar blocks them automatically, on every outlet in the network. Nothing books and nothing posts on Shabbos or Yom Tov itself, and delivery to creators is scheduled around them too. The one exception is the Motzei Shabbos run, on the outlets that offer one: it goes out after havdalah, and the calendar takes the time from the real havdalah for that community rather than a guess. You do not have to think about any of it; the luach is built in.
Do you do Instagram or email?
Not today. WhatsApp is where this market actually reads, and that is where the platform's own booking, calendar, and proof live. Anything digital we add will meet the same standard: a verified audience and a confirmation on every run.
Do you place ads anywhere besides WhatsApp?
Yes. JMG also places print ads, in Ami, Mishpacha, and other frum publications. Print runs by issue and submission deadline rather than the live calendar WhatsApp uses, so it is arranged directly with us rather than booked on the platform. Ask when you call and we will work out what fits.
For creators
Money, approvals, and missed runs.
How do I get paid and when?
Your share is worked out as soon as an order is booked and credited to your ledger the moment you confirm the post. Balances settle on a regular schedule, and every settlement is recorded against your account, so what you are owed is never a mystery.
Who decides what runs on my outlet?
You do. You approve what you carry, and nothing goes out to your audience without that approval. Readers stay because you are careful with what you post, and the network only works if that stays true.
What if I miss a slot?
It gets tracked honestly. A run that never posted stays unconfirmed on the record instead of quietly disappearing, and we work it out with the advertiser directly. A post is only ever marked confirmed by the creator who posted it, with their own proof attached to it.
How does JMG make money?
A commission on each order, and nothing else. The split runs automatically when the order is placed, and your ledger shows the gross, the commission, and your net on every line. There is no fee to join the network and no charge to apply.
